Helen Flanagan reveals she had a boob job to improve confidence

Helen from Bolton told how she had a 'boob job' sharing her personal story on Instagram with her one million followers.

The actor who has three children with former partner  Scott Sinclair, a footballer, admited she felt ‘really nervous’ to share the news  because of what others may think.

The 32-year-old who played Rosie Webster in Coronation Street said she had a boob job last Thursday.

In her story, she said: “I am for body confidence, and very much for supporting other women and supporting women in all choices that they decide to do.

“I think if something really is something bothering you then I think it’s a good thing to do something about it.” 

Helen shared that she is on her second day of recovery so hasn’t been able to shower properly because you ‘have to keep the wounds dry’.

She added: “I never thought I would have a boob job; I was always really busty.

“Basically, my boobs just changed so much from pregnancy and breast feeding. It’s a really tricky one here because I loved all my breastfeeding journeys. I’m a massive supporter of breastfeeding, I think it’s an amazing experience you can have with your children, and I would do it time and time again.

“But in total I probably breastfed for about three years…and I think it’s because I was quite big before… they just sagged. There’s no nicer way to say it. They just became really saggy and it affected my confidence.”

After noticing a change in her body, the mum of three added that she made the decision to have a boob job

Helen praised the nurses at the surgery for being ‘really lovely’. She added: “I feel okay. I’ve not been able to do much at all. I’ve just been chatting to my friends a lot, facetiming the kids, and trying to eat a lot of protein. I’ve actually just been binge watching Footballers Wives.”

Helen finished her video diary off saying she wanted to be ‘as honest as possible’ but she was nervous as ‘people can be unkind.’

She added: “I’m very much for supporting other women. I feel passionately about breastfeeding and I don’t regret it all. I just wanted to be honest about my experiences in case other women might relate to me.”
