The New Year celebrations may be over but we know that there would have been many good times at these Bolton nightclubs and venues down the years.
Among the ones featured are Ikon, Corks Cafe Bar, The Temple Dance Bar, Atlantis and Red in the Square.
They were all very popular making Bolton one of the North West biggest nights out.
We have compiled a picture gallery looking back at the nightlife scene in Bolton.

Today the town still boasts a vibrant night economy - whether it’s ROC, Kahiki, The Dragon Fly Pub, Yates, Depost, The Bar or The Balmoral, there’s something for all late-night comers.
If you fancy a bit of live music, Definitely Maybe provides just that, along with a wide array of libations. You will find a similar offering at The Venue Bar on Churchgate.
A more relaxed atmosphere might be more up your street, and there is plenty to sample.
Northern Monkey bring their own beer to Nelson Square, and the recently opened The Diversion, a new micro bar on Corporation Street that bills itself as a place for people who do not want the bright lights and banging music that other places might offer.
