A number of roads will be closed in the New Year while vital works take place across the borough.
The back of Higher Swan Lane will be sealed off for works from January 4 for approximately three days.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on the back of Higher Swan Lane from Paulhan Street to Settle Street, to allow water works to take place.
Highfield Road will also be closed in January for vital water works.
The road closure will be in place on January 5 between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm approximately.
The closure will prevent all traffic from proceeding on Highfield Road from Fir Road to Brindley Close, to enable water works to take place.
Alternate routes for traffic will be Marsh Lane, Plodder Lane and Laburnum Road.
And the back of Beaconsfield will also be closed from January 11 for approximately three days for vital water works.
The closure will stop all traffic from proceeding on the back of Beaconsfield Street, from Cannon Street North to Salisbury Street, to allow water works to take place.
Highfield Road will also be closed in January for vital water works.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, the council is asking residents to put them out at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
The local authority say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
