The festive season is still in full swing and there are still presents to be given, or in this case found.
Gifts have been hidden on a popular walk by ‘Santa’s Elves.’
And those on a walk in Rivington to burnoff their Christmas calories will be treated to a gift - if they can find one along the way.
Gifts have been hidden all around the historic Rivington Terraced Gardens this morning in an effort to lift the spirits of people in and around Bolton by the Rivington Heritage Trust.
Anyone who finds a gift from Boxing Day until January 5 can let the team know on social media and will be entered into a prize draw too.
A lucky winner will then be picked out of a hat to win tickets to the Rivington Festival of Lights.
A spokesman for the Trust said: “Merry Christmas! Watch out, watch out! There are elves about! Santa’s elves will be out and about hiding gifts in the gardens from today until New Years Day. If you are planning a walk, keep an eye open.

“Maybe you’ll be lucky and find a present! If you find a Secret Santa gift, let us know by posting a photo to this page. And on Twelfth Night, 5th January, we’ll put the names in a hat of those who posted, and one lucky winner will be drawn to win tickets to the Rivington Festival of Light in 2023!”
