A man has been taken to hospital following a crash involving two pedestrians and a vehicle.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, after police were called to reports of a crash on Bradshawgate at around 5am today.

The junction between Churchgate and Great Moor Street was closed for almost three hours.

Police remained on the scene for some time to conduct further enquiries.

The road has now reopened in both directions.

Police have since confirmed that there are no serious injuries, and that two men were struck by a vehicle.

A spokesperson for GMP said: “At around 5am this morning, officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians on Bradshawgate in Bolton.

“Emergency services attended the scene, and one man was taken to hospital.”
