Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted.
James Turner was attacked on Broach Street at around 9.30pm Great Lever on Friday evening, say police.
His bike was stolen and seven men made off from the scene towards Bobby Heywood park.
Detective Sergeant Ellie Sproat from GMP’s Bolton Crime Investigation Department, said: “We’ve been following up a number of lines of enquiry since the incident and we’re now in a position to appeal for the public to come forward with any information they may have.
“Anyone saw anything at the time or has information is asked to call 0161 856 5757 or report it online at www.gmp.police.uk.
“Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
- Zain Azim, 18, and from Green Lane, Bolton, and Hashikesh Patel, 18 and of Lowther Street, Bolton, have been charged with grievious bodily harm and theft of a bike and have been remanded into police custody.
