A Bolton theatre academy is moving studios to offer more students across the borough lessons in dance and theatre.
Opening in January 2023, Taylor's Theatre Academy is moving from Ainsworth Lane to Crompton Way.
The new studio based above the Family Shopper and Mega Carpets will have between six or eight modern dance studios along with a cafe/diner, a stage, and a recording studio.
Stacey Taylor, principal at Taylor's Theatre Academy, said: "We decided to open a new studio as we need a lot more room to achieve the things we want to in 2023.
"We have a brand new BTEC College course starting in September, so we needed more studios and space for the students.
"We will not be keeping the studio on Ainsworth Lane, we will have more than enough room over at the new premises, as much as we have loved it at the old Co-Op it was time to expand.
"We are excited to watch this brand new project unfold and grow, it is a great building with lots of character and has fantastic amenities around.
"It’s close to a lot of high schools and is easily accessible for a lot more people in Bolton and further afield with the train station being a few minutes walk away.
"We are also excited to have a car park, this was always an issue at Ainsworth Lane, with parents being able to drop off and pick up so that will be a massive bonus."
Not only is the academy offering a new studio they are also introducing new classes.
Stacey said: "We will also be introducing new dance and fitness classes into our timetable, suitable for all ages, as well as hosting day time activities that the whole community can get involved in.
"We are also very excited to be able to host our very own in house shows on the stage.
"It’s going to be a real positive start to 2023 and we can’t wait!"
The studio will be having an open day around the end of January beginning of February, offering children aged two-to-19 free trials in all lessons on offer.
