A Bolton Boy George tribute act is gearing up to potentially be on the Christmas number one charts.
Boy Gorgeous, personified by Paul Sutton, was asked to feature on the single "Food Aid" with LadBaby duo Mark and Roxanne Hoyle and money saving expert Martin Lewis.
The song is a reworking of 80s Bank Aid classic "Do They Know it's Christmas".
LadBaby has achieved four Christmas number ones in recent years with proceeds going to charity.
This time, Paul, who has met Boy George, is hoping he can become part of the sensation which would open more doors in his career.
He said: “I went down to London and filmed the video with Martin Lewis and LadBaby there.
“I was delighted to get the opportunity and it’s such a good cause in this time when the country us struggling with people not being able to afford even food.
“It’s amazing to be able to do something which could help and be a part of something like this.”
Funds from the single will go to food bank charity, The Trussell Trust.
Paul added: “It was really fun to film and LadBaby were so down to earth and amazing with us.
“I do so many things, but this is helping the homeless so it’s rewarding and has a good cause behind it.
“The whole experience was amazing and to think I could be part of a number one single for Christmas is mind-blowing, I can’t get over it.”
The song has reached more than 300,000 views on YouTube after just one day and is expected to reach the million mark before Christmas.
LadBaby have also been on BBC Breakfast to promote their new song.
