A Bolton police woman was discovered in a wardrobe in a raid on the address of a wanted individual.
Elaine Taylor, who served in Bolton District, was dismissed from the force after a tribunal on December 12.
The tribunal heard how, in January 2020, PC Taylor was discovered in a wardrobe in a raid.
It was at the address of a wanted individual of whom she was aware, but she chose to 'acquiesce' and 'ignore', the tribunal was told.
On December 12, allegations of discreditable conduct and honesty and integrity were proven against PC Taylor, and it was ruled these allegations amounted to gross misconduct.
She was dismissed, the force said.
Detective Sergeant Tony Dixon, of GMP's Professional Standards Branch, said: "We hold all of our police officers and staff to the highest standard, and unfortunately, PC Taylor fell below those standards.
"We remain committed to addressing any misconduct of any kind, at any rank, and will take swift and robust action to ensure we maintain the confidence of the public we serve."
