One of Bolton’s best loved venues will be hosting a night of comedy in the new year in aid of the town’s hospice.
The event will be held at the Albert Halls in the town centre on February 4 next year and will feature comedians Steve Royle, Ivan Brackenbury and Nina Gilligan, hosted by Jamie Sutherland.
All funds raised will go towards the upkeep of Bolton Hospice.
A statement from the Albert Halls said: “Come and have a night of good laughs and help Bolton Hospice to continue to provide expert care and support for local people facing life-limiting illnesses, and their families!”
The hospice is one of the most valued institutions in the borough and helps to care for people at the end of their lives.

The hospice depends on the generosity of people all across the borough to continue doing this work as well as the effort of its staff and volunteers.
Events like the Albert Halls comedy night are one of the most effective ways that the hospice has been able to raise money, allowing people to enjoy nights out while also supporting people in need.
The comedy night will begin at 7.30pm on February 4 with tickets available through the Albert Halls’ website.
