Police officers are appealing to the public for information about a man who died at his home last week.
John David Muir passed away at his home on Cannon Street on Thursday, December 1.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) says his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police officers have now issued a public appeal to help find his next of kin.
They are hopeful that someone might come forward to help them in their search.
A GMP spokesperson said: "We are tracing the next of kin of a man from Bolton.
"John David Muir, 43, sadly passed away at his home address of Cannon Street on Thursday, December 1.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
