The photographs show at least three damaged cars parked up on Glover Street, with the windows smashed on two of the vehicles.

With each car appearing to be parked along the street, it appears to be a targeted attack as the word "MOVE" has been spraypainted across each of the vehicles.

The photographs have sparked a fierce debate on social media.

While not condoning the actions of the vandals, people have aired their frustration about cars parking on the streets and the lack of access this gives to pedestrians.

One reader said this type of parking is "extremely dangerous" for people who have to move into the road to get past vehicles parked on the street.

Others stated that certain streets aren't wide enough to leave enough room for cars to fit through, so parking partly on the kerb is sometimes necessary.
