The festive season is getting started at Westhoughton’s newly-opened restaurant at the old India Gate site.
Ewe Restaurant and Bar are now taking Christmas and New Year’s bookings after officially opening its doors on November 18.
Now, this exciting rural dining experience has launched their Christmas Party, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve menus.
Christmas Party Menu
This menu is perfect for parties of eight or more.
The Christmas party menu includes seasonal starters, such as chestnut soup and sharing baked camembert.
There is also a selection of traditional festive favourite mains, from turkey dinner with stuffing and slow roasted beef short rib, to roasted salmon and spiced nut roast dinner.
And there will of course be a selection of mouth-watering desserts, including Christmas pudding and mulled wine trifle.
Enjoy the two-course menu for £29 or the three-course menu for £35.
Christmas Day Menu
The Christmas day four course dinner is priced at £85 per person, which includes all the classics with a modern twist, from pigs in blankets and shrimp cocktail to a turkey feast and Scottish salmon wellington.
There will also be a delicious selection of desserts to choose from, like Christmas pudding and gingerbread trifle, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
New Year’s Eve Menus
Those wishing to celebrate New Year’s Eve in style can choose from Ewe’s 6pm sitting, a five-course menu priced at £75 per person, or the 9pm sitting, a six-course menu at £95 per person.
These delicious menus include dishes such as cornfed chicken and foie gras terrine, seared hand dived scallop, and grilled beef fillet.
Ewe will be open throughout the Christmas period, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Fully dressed for the festive season, Ewe Restaurant and Bar has a rural, cosy feel, with wool textures and wood beams.
The venue also features a private dining room, garden room, open plan bar area, and a baby grand piano.
For those looking into 2023, Ewe is also set to open an outdoor terrace next year, with stunning views overlooking Rivington Pike, ideal for weddings.
