Bolton’s very own Oasis-themed bar officially relaunched on Thursday after moving to a bigger site with three times the space.

Definitely Maybe has become a popular destination to travel to in the town since it opened around two-and-a-half years ago.

The bar is known for providing a stage for artists and mixing up great cocktails in their downstairs venue on Mawdsley Street.

They have now moved to the former site of Blind Tiger - just a short walk away in Nelson Square, to recreate the same great atmosphere in a larger venue.

Speaking to The Bolton News previously, Paul Gallagher said: “It’ll nearly treble our capacity.

"It’s good because it can help musicians play in front of bigger audiences they deserve.

“It’ll be a proper live music venue.

“Bolton doesn’t really have one of this size.

“It’s exciting. I feel like Nelson Square can be a bit of a go-to destination. Not just for people in Bolton, but people coming here from outside.

“Like it used to be.”

The venue has two large floors, and along with the main stage, there is also a VIP area on the top floor, with a balcony overseeing the stage area.

There are plans for a “suspended” stage on the middle floor so that “solo artists can be seen from every section of the venue”.
