Two men were taken to hospital after a four-car crash on Friday night in Bolton.
Firefighters were called to Wigan Road, near Haslam Park, at 9.18pm after a crash which involved two moving vehicles and two stationary vehicles.
Two pumps from Bolton Central attended and made the area safe.
Two men were suffering from injuries, and they were treated by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), before being taken to Bolton Royal Hospital.
Both men self-rescued themselves from the vehicle.
Police were also on the scene to assess the incident.
Crew manager Andy Turner said: “At around 9.18pm last night (Friday) we were called to a road traffic collision (RTC) on Wigan Road, near Haslam Park.
“The RTC involved two cars and two stationary cars.
“Two pumps from Bolton Central attended, and we stayed there for about an hour.
“Two adult males are suffering from injures and they were seen by NWAS.
“Both of them were taken to Bolton Royal Hospital.
“Both were self-rescuing and were being looked after.
“We assessed the scene and made it safe.”
