Temporary road closures will be in place for two weeks on a busy Bolton junction this week as part of resurfacing work.
The road closures will affect the junction of Crompton Way, Moss Bank Way, and Belmont Road, and will start on Friday December 2.
It will mean that traffic will be unable to travel from the above roads 8pm until 6am the following day.
The roads that will be affected include Crompton Way, from Blackburn Road to Holland Street.
This includes suspending one-way on Holland Street.
Moss Bank Way from Drummond Street to Blackburn Road, and Belmont Road from Blackburn Road to Warwick Street.
The resurfacing will be carried out in phases.
A spokesperson for Bolton Council said: “The Council intends to make an order, operative from 5 December 2022 for two weeks approximately.
“The closures will be overnight between the hours of 8pm and 6am to allow resurfacing works and will be undertaken in consecutive phases.
“Alternate routes will be signposted and can be viewed on our website.
“The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.”
Roadworks have been taking place at the Crompton Way, Blackburn Road junction in April, as part of improvement plans.

Residents are also asked to present their bins at the nearest access point if they are due to be emptied during road resurfacing works.
This will allow bins to be collected on the usual collection day.
It is one of a number of roads that will be closed or operating with temporary traffic lights during road resurfacing and other road work projects.
More information can be found on the council’s website.
