Loved ones will be remembered at special Light up a Life service.
St Ann's Hospice will be holding six special services where people can dedicated a light in memory of a loved one.
Faye Howard will be among those attending a Light up a Life remembrance service.
She will be remember her mum Mel Howard who died in 2016.
Mel battled cancer for two years and throughout that time had many counselling sessions at St Ann’s Hospice.
Her husband Paul and Faye also have had counselling from the hospice which they say has helped them.
The couple have since raised funds for the hospice in honour of Mel by hosting galas and doing many sporting events, including the Great North SwimRun.
Services will take place at Manchester Cathedral on December 4, The hospice in Little Hulton on December 5, St Peter’s Church, Hale on December 7 and Heald Green on December 8.
People can make a dedication in the Winter Forest, to be seen by others and to remember loved ones with a photo.
She said: “It’s important to us that people know how incredible the hospice is, nothing was too much trouble for them, and they treat everyone with complete dignity – which made Mum’s last few days full of compassion and love.
