Katherine Ryan has claimed that it is an "open secret" that a prominent male TV personality is an alleged sexual abuser.
The Canadian comedian was speaking to Louis Theroux as part of his BBC series Louis Theroux Interviews.
Earlier this year Ryan had discussed a fellow comedian being an alleged sexual predator and had stated she had called him out on the set of an unidentified TV programme.
In the episode of Louis Theroux Interviews that aired on Tuesday, November 22 Ryan claimed that the unidentified TV personality is a “perpetrator of sexual assault”.
She said: “It’s very dangerous for us to have this conversation.
“I’m happy to have it, but it’s a litigious minefield because lots of people have tried to nail this person down for their alleged crimes and this person has very good lawyers, so am I going to put my mortgage on the line by saying who this person is or entering into any conversations like that?
“We’ve seen what happens to the people who talk about alleged predators.”

Ryan stated that “it’s not my story to tell” as she had not personally faced any sexual assaults from this individual.
She added: “But this person, I believe very strongly – many people believe very strongly – is an open secret, is a perpetrator of sexual assault,” she continued.
“I, in front of loads of people, in the format of the show said to this person’s face that they are a predator.”
Ryan first made these allegations as part of her TV show on Amazon Prime Video Backstage with Katherine Ryan.
