The following people have recently been before the courts for going too fast on a major road going in and out of Bolton.
The A666 has a 50mph limit and a number of average speed cameras.
These cases have called in the last two months.
Irshad Ali drove at 57mph between Bradford Street and Raikes Lane.
The 61-year-old was driving a Totoya Corolla at the time.
Ali, from Gibraltar Street, Bolton, admitted the offence at Tameside Magistrates Court.
He was fined £66 and banned from the roads for six months due to repeat offending.
The court took his guilty plea into account when determining the sentence to impose.
James Haslam drove at 57mph bewteen Bradford Street and Raikes Lane in January this year.
The 57-year-old was driving a Vauxhall Corsa at the time.
The case against him was proved at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
Haslam, from Bolton Road, Westhoughton, was fined £220 and given three points on his licence.
Daniel Hayes drove at 58mph between Church Road and Raikes Lane in January this year.
The 38-year-old was driving a BMW at the time.
The case against him was proved at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
Hayes, from Ivy Road, Bolton, was fined £66 and given three points on his licence.
Wiktor Dawgiert drove at 70mph between Bradford Street and Raikes Lane in January this year.
The 19-year-old was driving a Mini at the time.
The case against him was proved at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
Dawgiert, from Cuckoo Lane, Prestwich, was fined £440 and given four points on his licence.
