A luxury steakhouse, known for selling £150 gold leaf covered steak and is popular with celebrities, has responded to complaints about plans to expand
Beefalo Meat House in Bolton submitted proposals to convert the first floor and extend the maximum number of diners from 90 to 225.
Obejections were raised citing noise and parking issues.
But the restaurant says it works within the community to prevent parking issues.

A spokesman for Beefalo Restaurant said: “Everything the council told us when we initially submitted plans to open, we have accommodated.
“The church opens in the morning on weekends, so we open at 12 then and on weekdays we open after the schools close at 3.30pm and nobody comes in till after 5pm anyway.
“We have ticked all the boxes and it’s not affecting the church or the school."
He added: “On the noise issue, we have low music playing throughout the restaurant that you can barely hear, and we don’t have rowdy customers, we don’t even serve alcohol here.
“The residents are so far away that it does not even affect them.”
The restaurant also draws attention to the work it does in the community by hiring and helping young people going through rehab in Bolton.
Manager, Mehmet Kilinc said: “We have been active in training college leavers and young people who needed help.
“We currently employ seven young people who we found through working in the community to give more people a chance to change their lives.”
The restaurant also maintains that the prices for a steak at £25 is not expensive and normal for a steakhouse.
The restaurant was opened initially by Ched Bayram Yuce, a famous Turkish chef who opened one previously in Liverpool.
