A homelessness charity will be making sure Bolton's most vulnerable are cared for this Christmas.
Homeless Aid UK is hosting two campaigns and a Christmas dinner to help the homeless, children in need and the elderly and although they are running these campaigns for Christmas.
It will be hosting a free Christmas Party on December 15 with a meal, entertainment, a DJ and more so the homeless are able to enjoy the festive season.
They will also recieve a gift bag full of goodies to celebrate Christmas and gifts to keep them warm.
The Christmas Party will be held at All Souls in Astley Bridge which has given the organisation the room.
The party is for homeless individuals who are vulnerable and need support.
The second campaign is Homeless Aid's Christmas Toy Appeal.
This is the annual mission to gift presents to children who will go without a Christmas present without donations.
The charity is now looking for community support to donate cash for presents, £15 will guarantee one child a Christmas present.
The organisation will also support the elderly who have no family or they have been affected by the cost of living crisis.
Volunteers will be travelling around the borough giving out meals and hampers and there will also be a christmas meal and gifts for them too.
Billa Ahmed, Co-founder of Homeless Aid UK and his team work hard each year to run the three campaigns, he said: "At Christmas time many of our homeless friends don't have families or their families don't speak to them, so we want to show that we are there for them and that we care.
"We have many people come who say they can't remember the last time they had been given a present, so we want to make those people feel really important and let them know that the team care about them.
"Homelessness is not just for Christmas it is all year round and it's very important we support them.
"At Christmas the suicide rate is up, and to prevent this all it takes is someone showing them they care, it's really important.
"Even on Christmas day we are out, feeding the homeless, we are not going to stop.
"Homeless Aid is 365 days a year, we will still run as normal.
"There are also hundreds of children in Bolton who will not recieve a Christmas present due to the cost of living crisis and the elderly who are lonely, so we are doing this to show we care and we don't want anyone to go without at this time of year.
"We are a Bolton family and we are doing it for the people of Bolton."
