A road in Tonge Moor will be closed for works at the end of this month.
Kentfield Drive will be closed for one day for manhole repairs.
The road closure will be in place between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm prohibiting all traffic from proceeding on Kentfield Drive at its junction with Spindal Way to enable manhole repairs to take place.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
