Police officers from across Bolton gathered with communities this morning to share two minutes silence for Remembrance Day.
Officers and staff from Astley Bridge Police Station gathered and observed a two minutes silence at the front of the station at 11am today to remember the fallen.
A spokesperson for Astley Bridge Police Station said: "They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.
"Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
"At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them."
Officers from Bolton South Police also attended a Remembrance service this morning.
The officers from the Farnworth Neighbourhood team were proud to support those who attended Farnworth Park this morning to remember members of our Armed Forces, past and present.
People from across Bolton have gathered today at various churches, cenotaphs and in the town centre to commemorate the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country.
A Remembrance Service will also take place on Sunday from 10.40am at Victoria Square.
The public is encouraged to gather once again to pay their respects.
