Film crews rolled into Bolton today to shoot something a little different today as tress were dressed up with blossom and potted plants put up outside the old court house.

Bolton is often featured in some of the biggest dramas on television - from Peaky Blinders to The Stranger.

But this time, no A-list actors were spotted as productions crews were filming an advert for the Electoral Commission.

Film crew could be seen setting up lighting equipment and putting blossom on trees near to the Magistrates Court.

Potted bushes were also seen on the steps outside the court.

Cones had also been set out further down Le Mans Crescent, prohibiting parking in the immediate area.

This comes after various top TV shows have filmed at the famous Bolton spot, including Peaky Blinders, Coronation Street, Ridley, The Ipcress File and more.

Stars such as Cillian Murphy, Georgia Taylor, Millie Gibson and more have been spotted on the elegant crescent, which has become a regular place for film crews to be seen in the last year.
