Emergency services were called to a fire at a business in Bolton overnight.
The call came at around 3am after smoke was seen on Lever Street.
Firefighters were called after a machine developed a fault.
It emerged a plastic moulding machine had broken out at Bolton Plastics.
The fire service was in attendance for less than an hour.
A fire service spokesperson said: "At Bolton Plastics a plastic moulding machine caught fire.
"An on site person put it out.
"We were thre for around 45 minutes."
