Footage has captured the terrifying moment when a driver came across multiple lanes at the very last moment on the way towards Bolton.
Motorists on the M60 were taking the turning to the M61 which leads onto the A666 into the town last Monday afternoon.

As they driver turned on the M61 the motorist next to them was forced to move onto away onto the next line.
The motorist who captured the footage, who asked not to be named, shared it with North West Dash Cam Videos on Facebook.
They said: “It happened around 2.30pm M60 anti clockwise M61 junction.
“The driver sped off towards Kearsley.”
Diagonal hatching on motorways is used to separate lanes of traffic and to protect vehicles waiting to turn off the road.
If the are is bordered by a broken white line motorist can enter it, but only if it necessary and safe to do so but if it is bounded by a solid white line then drivers must not enter it except in an emergency.
