A Wickes store has returned to Bolton with a new store near the town centre.
The huge home improvement retailer Wickes has opened a new store as part of the business’ ongoing investment, choosing to come back to Bolton after closing down previously.
The Bolton store located in Trinity Street.
Neil Davies, store manager, Bolton said: “We’re delighted to be opening a new store in Bolton which we are sure will delight customers, particularly with our high-end showrooms and our dedicated service areas.
“We look forward to hearing shopper feedback soon!”
There are clear areas in the new store that cater for trade, DIYers and consumers looking for support on larger transformational home improvement projects.
The new Wickes store also features a kitchen and bathroom showroom to help customers plan their dream homes.
Previously, the store was next to Decathlon at the same site but closed down and has now decided to reopen.
The retailer’s ‘Do It For Me’ service offers expert design consultants who are on hand to provide advice to customers either face to face or through virtual meetings.
Trade customers will find a large availability of stock making it easier to complete projects on time and all TradePro members will get a 10pc discount every time they shop.
DIY-ers will find an updated paint range with Dulux colour mixing service together with a wide variety of stylish tile and flooring products to choose from.

Supporting the increase in digital shopping, the Bolton store has a Click & Collect area as well as a Park and Collect for customers along with smart fulfilment space to assist local home deliveries from online and instore orders.
The new store is open Monday on Friday 7am - 8pm, Saturday 8am - 7pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm.
