Shocking footage shows how a driver led police on a dangerous chase through backstreets before emerging onto the main street in Kearsley.
Ryan Shepherd was behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra when the outrageous incident took place in April this year.
Video shows how he sped up backstreets, including where a pedestrian was walking and turned a corner at high speed before emerging onto Bolton Road.
Bolton Crown Court heard how the chase came to an end when police collided with Shepherd's vehicle to stop him driving against traffic on the A666 at Raikes Lane.
The 27-year-old, of Wilbraham Road in Worsley, admitted dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and driving without a licence or insurance.
He was given a sentence of 10 months in prison, suspended for two years, ordered to attend an alcohol treatment programme and attend 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Shepherd was also banned from the roads for a period of two years and must take an extended retest before he can drive again.
