Two educational music sessions for children with special needs are taking place this Sunday, October 9.

The sessions are split by age group - the first held from 12pm to 12.50pm is for those aged three to seven, and the second is from 1pm until 2pm for ages eight to 13-years-old. 

The sessions will take place at Smithills Hall.

A spokesperson for Bolton Library and Museum Services said: "If your child sometimes struggles with certain situations, then join us for a musical session just for children with SEND.

"Note Weavers is a community of learning for early years music within which early years practitioners, musicians and educators improving access for children, families and communities to quality musical experiences.

"Each session will be led by a music therapist who will use music, songs, rhymes, props, instruments and musical games to engage children with music and sound and to support and help them connect with others and break down language and learning barriers."
