An Olympic champion is coming to Bolton this weekend as the oldest swimming club in Bolton celebrates its 150th year anniversary.
Bolton Swimming Club is turning 150 this year and one of the events that they are hosting as part of their celebrations is on October 9, when Olympic Champion and regular GB National team swimmer, James Guy from Bury, comes to Bolton to hold a swim clinic with their swimmers.
He recently won 6 medals at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham this year and 2 medals at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest.
The clinic will be held at Horwich Leisure Centre, Victoria Road, Bolton and will start at 1pm including a coaching session in the pool with James, a land training session by one of James' team, a presentation by his father and a Question and Answer session to finish off.

The day will finish around 5pm but is for members of the swimming club only.
The celebration promises to be an exciting day for the coaches and swimmers at Bolton Swimming Club and a fitting event for their 150th celebrations.
David Roberts, Secretary at Bolton Amateur Swimming Club said: "We are really excited to celebrate and that's why we have put on a number of events throughout the year, I think as well its because we have been going for so long and we are in a really good place and feeling like we have built the club up so it stands in good stead for the future.
"This is one of our events for the 150 celebrations and Terry Stott is our head coach and he will be there and he has been there for like 60 years so really this 150 years is testament to what he has done to build the club up to be what it is really because he has been the main coach there over the last twenty years and has put us in a really good place to be honest.
