A group of youths let off fireworks in a supermarket car park yesterday evening.
Police officers say that on Friday evening they dispersed the group of young people from the car park of Morrisons on Lea Gate, Harwood.
This came amid increased foot patrols across the Bolton North area aimed at tackle anti-social behaviour in hotspot areas.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “A group of youths have been dispersed from Morrisons Harwood, letting off fireworks in the car park."
The Bolton North Neighbourhood Team were joined by nine Special Constables to crackdown on anti-social behaviour
The patrols were focused on Morrisons Harwood, Darwen Road in Bromley Cross, Tonge Moor Road, the Avenues in Little Lever and the Thicketford Road area of Breightmet.
The GMP spokesperson said: “Recent intelligence and calls to police suggest this is where most anti-social behaviour is occurring.”
