People have started moving into Bolton's new eco-estate.
Homebuilder Northstone has completed the first of its 105 homes at Airie, a new development just off St Helens Road.
And these home boast green credentials.
Every home is energy efficient with double and triple glazed windows to reserve heat as well as reduce noise.
The homes are also fitted with a heat save recovery system, which extracts heat from the waste water from showers and baths etc.
Every room is fitted with sensitive switches, turning off when not in use with similar technology for the heating and roof insulation.
When complete, the community will feature 15 two-bedroom, 52 three-bedroom and 38 four-bedroom homes.
They’ll sit within a green neighbourhood, with lush planting and open spaces for new and existing residents.
Savita Kalyan is among those who’ve already moved in.

She said: “From the high ceilings and big windows, to the energy saving measures and loads of greenery, it’s really difficult to find a place with all these features when you’re looking to buy a house.
“We already lived in Bolton but saw the new homes being built and thought we’d take a look.
“We were blown away by Northstone’s designs and haven’t been disappointed with both the process and ease of buying, as well as our finished home.
“It was brilliant to meet our new neighbours too.”
The best thing about the new builds is that Savita and her family have reportedly combined gas and electricity bills of less than £100 for a three-bedroom family home, which is crucial in the cost of living crisis.
Demand for new homes in Bolton also continues to climb.
Anita Jolley, Sales Director, at Northstone, said: “We’re immensely proud to be continuing our story of investing in much-needed new homes in Bolton.
“People often have a negative view of new build homes, but we’re determined to tackle that head on.
“We’re doing so by committing to considered, high quality design and making sure our communities are green, welcoming and accessible.
Airie is Northstone’s second site in Bolton, with final homes now remaining at Silkash in Westhoughton.
The next phase of homes for sale at Airie start from £300,000, with viewings now available to book at: https://northstone.co.uk/development/airie/
