JUSSI Jaaskelainan was pressed into an unexpected return to the Wanderers squad at Stamford Bridge on Super Sunday.

The Finland keeper, whose season appeared to be over when he suffered a back injury two months ago, was named as one of two substitute keepers as the Whites wrapped up their season against title-chasing Chelsea.

Ian Walker, who has been regular back-up for Ali Al-Habsi in Jaaskelainen's absence, complained of a stomach upset in the build-up to the game, so Gary Megson decided to err on the side of caution.

Wanderers went into the game knowing their Premiership status was all-but assured, barring a set of catastrophic results that could see them leap-frogged by Reading and Fulham, who were at Derby and Portsmouth respectively.

Ivan Campo failed a fitness test on a calf injury and missed out, but Joey O'Brien recovered from a hamstring injury to return in midfield at the expense of Danny Guthrie.

Alex was drafted in to replace the injured Carvalho at centre back for Chelsea.
