IT might be chilly, but lambs at one Bolton farm are kicking their heels at the cold weather.
And one of the flock at David Whitehead's farm in Edgworth seems to be saying "Baaaa" to the spring snow showers.
Mr Whitehead keeps a flock of 70 breeding Charollais cross ewes at Wheatsheaf Farm and they started lambing five weeks ago.
The lambs were born inside and after a day in the fields, they are brought back in at night during the cold spell.
Mr Whitehead, aged 73, who has been farming most of his life, said: "We have had an easy lambing this year.
"Because our lambs are born inside, the weather doesn't affect them - they live in five-star luxury."
Mr Whitehead, who also runs a butcher's shop in the village, has bred sheep for 40 years.
Charollais sheep originate from the Charollais region of France, which is also famous for its cattle.
