AN actress who discovered her passion for drama at the Octagon Theatre has confessed to becoming a Doctor Who fan after appearing alongside David Tennant in the hit show.
Anna Hope, from Edgworth, landed the role as Novice Hame, a feline nun, in the first episode featuring the Scottish star in 2005.
Anna, aged 32, was a pupil at Edgworth Primary School before attending Turton High School, was invited to the fourth annual Dr Who convention in Darwen to share her experiences with fans of the show.
Anna gave an interview to the 50 plus fans who attended Dr Who Day.
Anna said: "David Tennant who plays Dr Who was brilliant. He is just such a great actor and makes you act to your best."
Anna returned as the cat nun in last year's episode Gridlock.
She said: "David Tennant is my favourite Dr Who, I wasn't a fan of the show when I was younger."
Her acting passion started when she began putting on plays at home with her sisters and she joined the Octagon Youth Theatre aged 10.
