LEIGH RMI 0, TAMWORTH 0: What would manager Steve Bleasdale have given to have his side's recent record all season?
The Railwaymen, favourites for relegation from Blue Square North, have continually leaked in goals, but their defence has finally tightened up with three clean sheets in their last four games.
"The lads have been tremendous and, although we look down, there is still plenty to play for," said Bleasdale. "I want to try and get off the bottom at least and we should have collected three points.."
Leigh always looked the more positive side and Richard Chetcuti was unfortunate to see his shot hit the upright while Jonathan Goulding shot narrowly wide.
Gavin Salmon added to RMI's frustrations when he nodded the ball wide of the target from an Owen Roberts' corner.
