A popular Bolton farm will be hosting an open evening today to promote all of their homemade dairy produce and to meet the cows.
Smithills Open Farm will be open between 5PM and 8:30PM this evening for an evening of activities.
Milking will take place at 8PM and people will have the chance to sample milk, cream, butter, yoghurt, ice cream, milkshakes and fruit juices at various stalls.
People will also have the chance to meet the cows, meet the Grimshaw family and the milkmen, see all the animals in the farm, watch the team processing the milk and watch the team making ice cream, yoghurt and butter.
Entry is free and all are invited to the open evening.
