A Bolton cinema has sold out of tickets for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.
VUE cinema, Middlebrook has sold out of tickets for people to watch the Queen's funeral live on the big screen from 10am.
The cinema has cancelled all of its regular showings for Monday, September 19, and instead will just be screening the funeral for free.
A spokesperson said: “We will be screening the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, in selected UK venues on Monday, 19 September, live from 10am. “Seats will be free of charge and our retail offering on this day will be limited to complimentary bottled water during the broadcast, with no other snacks or drinks available for purchase.
“ On this day we will not be showing our normal programme of films and instead are screening the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
The showing is expected to last five hours and VUE cinema venues in Manchester, Bolton, Bury, Salford Quays, Printworks and Altrincham have now run out of tickets.
Cinemas like Cineworld, Odeon, and Showcase will be closing their doors on the Monday and won't have any screenings.
