Multiple motorists have recently been fined for breaking the speed limit on the A666 St Peter’s Way.
The road is one of the major routes into Bolton and is subject to a 50mph speed limit, monitored by average speed cameras located up and down it.
Irshad Ali drove at 59mph between Bradford Stret and Raikes Lane when behind the wheel of a Toyota Corolla heading south.
The 61-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence which took place in October last year at Tameside Magistrates Court.
Following the plea he was hit with a fine of £75.
Ali, from Gibraltar Street, Bolton, was also given three points on his licence.
Sajid Natha drove a Mercedes at 57mph between Raikes Lane and Bradford Street travelling in a northbound direction in November last year.
He had pleaded not guilty but the case against him was proven at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Following this outcome the 45-year-old was fined £60.
Natha, from Chaucer Street, Bolton, was also given three points on his licence.
Kirsty Entwistle drove a Volkswagen heading north between Raikes Lane and Bradford Street at 58mph.
The 30-year-old admitted the offence which took place in November last year at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court.
Following this Entwistle, from Preston Street, Darwen, was fined £66.
Pauline Habibullah drove a Peugeot between Bradford Street and Raikes Lane heading south at 59mph.
The case against her was proven at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
The 41-year-old did not attend at court.
Habibullah was fined £200 and given three points on her licence.
Sandra Kelly drove at 57mph while behind the wheel of an Audi in December last year.
The 58-year-old admitted the offence when the case called at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court.
Following the outcome Kelly, from Burford Road, Liverpool, was fined £92.
She was also given three points on her licence.
