JUSSI Jaaskelainen could have made his last appearance for Bolton Wanderers after being told he will not play again this season.
The Finland keeper, whose current contract runs out in June, has been sidelined by a back injury he suffered warming up before the first leg of the UEFA Cup tie against Sporting Lisbon.
He missed his first Premiership game for more than three years yesterday when Ali Al-Habsi made his debut in the 1-0 defeat at Wigan Athletic - more than two years after joining Wanderers from the Norwegian club, Lyn Oslo.
There had been rumours that Jaaskelainen's injury was far more serious than first reported and Wanderers boss Gary Megson confirmed last night that the 32-year-old would, indeed, miss the rest of the season.
