Dear Style Rehab

I could do with a pair of new jeans but I simply don't know what to go for.

I would like an all round pair I can wear at night, dressed up with heels, or alternatively wear during the day with trainers.

Sally, Horwich

A good pair of jeans can be hard to find and without knowing your body shape it is hard to suggest a pair but to start with i would go to boohoo.com Colour is high on the fashion agenda this season so why not go for red.

These skinny jeans are just £15 and comply with the nautical trend, teamed with a blue sailor doll blouse. Perfect for spring day outings. Skinny jeans suit almost everyone, especially if you have a boyish frame ala Kate Moss.

High waists and flares are all over the catwalks, with 1970s inspired looks coming back quicker than you can say ABBA. This pair, at £18, are also from the nautical collection but would be better suited for a night out. Try chunky wedges or sparkly sandals on your feet to complement the look.

If you want to go a bit goth then why not try these black sknny jeans, £12, also from boohoo.com These can be dressed down with a vest and silver gladiator sandals for day or dressed up at night with a sparkly top and heels. If your heels have straps, then wear them outside of the jean to show off the heel.

Last but not least, and if you've got ultra-skinny legs, go for these super tight jeans from Warehouse at £45. Fancy bagging the whole look? The tuxedo jacket will set you back £70, a big dent in your purse, but fits the masculine tailoring trend of this season down to a tee. The clutch, at £18, doesn't satisfy the oversized bag phenomenon of this season but it will satisfy this trend. The shoes are a whopping £65 but are the perfect accompaniment to this outfit. All I can say to that is well done Warehouse.

So don't dispair, just try on a few pairs for size. Always consider the cut, and if they are too long for trainers then wear with heels at the correct length and just turn them up with your flats. Sorted.
