As one production crew wraps up in Bolton, another rolls in.
Filming is now underway for a new Netflix crime thriller Bodies, an adaptation of a graphic novel by Si Spencer.
It stars Stephen Graham of Line of Duty, Peaky Blinders and the film adaptation of Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy. He also played footballer Billy Bremner in The Damned United and a prison guard in BBC drama Time.
The eight part series is set to air next year
It is set in four different eras of London as the same murder is investigated.
It spans the present past and future as scenes are set in 1890, 1940, 2014 and 2050.
It is unclear which of these Bolton will form the backdrop to.
Multiple police cars were seen on Le Mans Crescent yesterday as crews turned up to begin filming.
There was also a military looking van.
People in the centre of town watched on as the scene was set up and took pictures of what was unfolding.
