LEIGH have a chance to put their league misery behind them when they take on Southport in the semi-finals of United Co-operative Challenge Cup.
The Railwaymen - nine points off safety and without a win in six games - look certainties for relegation, but the basement club have a chance of cup glory when they travel to Blue Square North rivals Southport on Tuesday night.
But Steve Bleasdale's struggling side will have their work cut out against their promotion-chasing hosts, who are flying high in sixth spot.
