NIALL BRIERCLIFFE, aged 28 led police on a high speed chase before crashing his car into a kerb. He was jailed for 10 months.
KIERON JACKSON, aged 32 repeatedly tried to rape a young girl. He was jailed for 17 years.
TYLER LOWE, aged 28, was the first person in the country to be charged under a new law designed to punish domestic violence offenders after non-fatally strangling his partner. He was jailed for two years and four months.

WARREN SPENCER, aged 45, broke into his ex-partner's flat and stole from her while she was being treated in hospital. He was jailed for 876 days.
RYAN HAYWARD, aged 29 was given an extra sentence for shoplifting after already having been on a crime spree across Bolton. He was jailed for an extra six weeks on top of the 18 months he was already serving.
ARIEL BROOKS, aged 21, was found with £1000 worth of heroin. He was jailed for two years and three months.
COBY CROMPTON, aged 18, led police in a stolen car down the wrong side of the M61. He was jailed for nine months.
