If you've walked past The Bolton News office in the town centre in recent weeks you might have noticed it looks rather empty.
That's because we're in the middle of moving from our home in The Wellsprings and will soon be working from a shiny new office further down the high street - more on that in due course.
Due to the complications that come from moving office in the 21st century (including the length of time it takes to move a broadband contract from one building to another), our reporters are currently either working from home or remotely across Bolton.
So, we decided now was a great opportunity to host a pop-up newsroom and our friends at the Octagon Theatre have very kindly offered to host us.
The pop-up newsroom is a brilliant opportunity for local people to come and meet our journalists and talk to them about stories they want to see in The Bolton News and on the website.
While our team is regularly out and about in the town and wider area reporting on the latest goings-on, we want to present readers with the chance to chat with us in person.
If you'd like to attend the pop-up and meet the team, head to the Octagon Theatre on Thursday (September 1) between 10am and 4pm and say you're there to speak to The Bolton News team.
