A youngster used his birthday to put the fun into fundraising on Thursday.
Big-hearted Daniel Devlin chose to throw a fun run for charity in Lostock, where he lives to celebrate his 10th birthday .
The fun run was held at Regents Park Golf Club in Lostock, where the family live.
Together with his friends they ran and parents joned in.
Years and Years actress Ruth Madeley was one of his biggest supporters on the day - although Daniel was most definitely the star of the day

Ruth told The Bolton News: “He likes doing things like this with his friends and his mum and dad loved the idea to be able to do something for IPSEA and give back.”
IPSEA – the Independent Advisor of Special Education Advice is a charity helping parents whose children have Special Education Needs.
Ruth said: “I’m definitely the cool aunt as Daniel and I have always been close, he is my only nephew and I just love him so much.
“Daniel is so funny and talented, he has three Blue Peter badges, with one that just came this morning.
“He’s definitely going to eclipse me no problem and I felt so proud of him and his parents who can get him to a great school.”
Daniel himself loved the day enjoyed a pizza party at home with his pals.
He called the run ‘a lot of fun’ as they played around with mum Liz and dad James Devlin looking on.
Liz said: “It was all his idea, and I was so excited to do the run.
“We’d been talking about it for ages after he saw it on YouTube and then I thought we better plan it and ended up doing it for his birthday.
“It’s different and the charities were so happy when we told them what we were doing.
The chosen charities were Breaking Barriers and IPSEA.
Liz said: “Daniel likes being outside and doing sports, especially running and wrestling.
“He wanted to do the run so when we suggest raising money, he was all for it.”
“I decided I wanted to give back as I am a parent of a child with special educational needs."
