A fantastic set of results were celebrated at University Collegiate School.
The school is now in its second year after the UTC Bolton become a Year 7 to Year 13 educational establishment.
Headteacher Gary Whiting said: "We are delighted with the successes of our Year 11 who have achieved a memorable set of results, that we are delighted will allow each of them to progress on to the next stage of education or employment. With over 33 per cent of our candidates achieving grades 9-7 in health and social care and sports science which reinforce the strengths of our specialisms. Congratulations to all of our students on their well-deserved results!
"Subject areas in which students performed to outstanding levels included biology, chemistry and physics, which is true testament to the school’s UTC STEM specialism.
"The resilience and dedication of our students has ensured they are fully prepared to enter their next steps, and we are delighted that most of our graduates have opted to continue their Key Stage Five studies with us in our outstanding sixth form provision.
"We are exceptionally proud of every one of our students, including Sol, who achieved three grade 9s, two Distinction stars, two grade 8s and two grade 7s."
