MARK Hughes has predicted a nail-biting relegation scrap for Wanderers which will go right to the last day of the season.
But the Blackburn boss believes his near neighbours have more than enough talent to survive.
Wanderers suffered a severe dent in their fight against the drop with a defeat at Ewood Park where the scoreline flattered the home side.
With a home game against Liverpool next up, the job of securing their Premiership status is not going to get any easier for Wanderers.
But Hughes believes Gary Megson's men will confirm their Premiership credentials when they come up against sides outside the top third.
He said: "They caused us a number of problems and they will cause lesser teams than us more problems, and I think they will be fine.
"It will be difficult for them and it will go all the way to the wire, but I think they've got enough to stay up."
