A vehicle believed to have been used in crime has been recovered by the police.
The Farnworth Neighbourhood Policing Team said they came across a van when on patrol on Wednesday morning..
The van, a grey Toyota, was found by the police in the Moses Gate area, and police say when checked on police systems, was found to have previously been used in criminal matters.
Police seized the van and will be making further enquiries to identify those responsible for and involved in the crime.
A spokesperson neighbourhood policing team said: " The Farnworth Neighbourhood Policing Team were out in the Moses Gate area this morning and came across a vehicle, that when checked on the Police systems had previously been used in criminal matters.
"The vehicle was seized and further enquiries will be made to identify those responsible and involved."
