A new cocktail bar is opening in Bolton town centre.
Circle is the latest late-night venue to open in the centre and owners bill it as a high end bar without pretension, where people can enjoy evening cocktails to dancing int the early hours.
Owner Sam Zegrour and his business partner Charles McGrath bought J2 nightclub in Bolton in 2015 and turned it into Level nightclub.
They also bought The Dragonfly Pub in the same year, which is also situated on Nelson Square.
Sam added: “When this site became available in March this year, we felt it was perfect for implementing this concept.
“We’re extremely excited, it’s been a five-month project, so we are certainly ready to open the doors to the public.
“The feedback we often get about Bolton nightlife is that there aren’t any higher end bars that cater for groups who would ordinarily be drawn to Manchester.
“We feel with Circle that we’ll fill this gap in the market that we didn’t feel we were catering for.”
The inspiration comes from their already existing nightclub in Bolton that mostly attracts 18–24-year-olds and a pub that is wide ranging in its clientele and events.
The nightclub will appeal to anyone who loves cocktails, great music and an amazing atmosphere. said Sam.
He added: “Although we’re going to be a premium bar, there will be no pretentiousness.
“If you dress appropriately and are well mannered our door will be open.”
Sam and Charles’ both have a wide range of experience with them, with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry.
Sam added: “We have a great team around us who make sure that we always deliver the best product possible.”
And Sam says that one of the post popular questions he has had in the past has been customers asking for chargers. So, he fitted the new club with invisible docking stations to charge phones.
Circle will be free entry all weekend, although charges may apply to Gala events.
The club will initially be opening Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm-3am, plus bank holidays.
Sam says they will look at adding more nights out once they’ve thoroughly tested the operation.
It will be open to the public on the August bank holiday on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8pm-3am.
